My name is Farhad Yasavoli, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Painting and a Master’s degree in Graphic Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran, Iran. Throughout these years, photography has been a constant passion, accompanying my journey across various disciplines in the visual arts.

Currently, I am completing my Master’s in Photography at the University of the Arts London (UAL). For me, photography has always been a means of exploration, particularly in the realm of memory, both as a personal and social construct. I am deeply interested in the relationship between these dimensions and the impact of decay on images, people, and memories. My work seeks to capture this journey, with all its uncertainties, through the photographic medium, illustrating how time and absence leave their imprints on our perceptions of the past.
